Discussion on Increasing the Capacity of Indonesian Data Center Industry Human Resources between Nusantara Data Center Academy, IDPRO, and Puslitbang APTIKA IKP Kemkominfo

On Tuesday, October 10, 2023, Nusantara Data Center Academy (NDCA) together with the Indonesia Data Center Provider Organization (IDPRO) attended an invitation from the APTIKA IKP Research and Development Center – BPSDM Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemkominfo) to discuss the major challenges in improving the quality and quantity of human resources that can support the Data Center industry in Indonesia which has grown very significantly in recent years.

As a follow-up to the signing of the MoU during the Nusantara Data Center and Cloud Summit 2023 event, a meeting was held again between the three stakeholders to discuss several main points related to the work occupation map and KKNI, updating the SKKNI, and developing HR capacity related to Data Centers in Indonesia.

The current occupation map still refers to SKKNI no. 45 of 2015 concerning Data Center Management. Since the SKKNI has been in effect for 8 years, a review is needed, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Manpower that a review of the SKKNI is needed at least once every 5 years.

In this discussion session, Nusantara Data Center Academy was represented by Ms. Sari Octaviani as Program Manager, Mr. Harry Haryadi as Senior Trainer, Mr. Gerald Ghazaly as Education Program Developer, and Ms. Aisyah Ramadhan as Marketing & Community Officer. From IDPRO, it was represented by Mr. Wisnoe Pribadi as senior advisor, while from Puslitbang APTIKA IKP it was represented by Ms. Argasi Susenna as Head of the Media Publication & Post-Training Working Team, Mr. Aldhino Anggorosesar as Head of the Standardization & Competency Working Team, and other team members.
